While I like my hair, the price, the products, and we started mostly on time, I am not likely to rebook due to what I deem an unsafe neighborhood, no ...greeting, difficult parking, and the cleanliness was off putting e.g trash overflowing, atmosphere in disarray w/ trash bags around. Also for me, I prefer a stylist who will not have to tend to a baby during my service. Staff seemed nice and may be good ppl; however, the experience does not make me want to rebook. Show more

new to the area and ideally i’d like my daughter and i go to the same hairstylist for convenience, and i booked because of the reviews however this wa...sn’t my experience whatsoever. for starters, there was no warm welcome it was very stern and cold. secondly, while i appreciate being asked about my hair i would have also appreciated not having to be the one to ask follow up questions at the end of my service but instead be given a professional suggestion of routine on how to maintain my hair moving forward. my daughter got a silk press and cried the entire time she got her hair blow dried and flat ironed. my 5yo daughter, who by the way is no newbie to the salon chair, has been getting her hair done professionally since she was 2. at the wash bowl i explained that she is tender at the very top, not only was this not acknowledged but going back to the blowdry/flat iron- with the heat being at what seemed to be the highest setting (i too was burned a few times with no apologies) you’d think a stylist would know to ask probing questions and/or console their client who is visibly in distress due to the service being provided… especially a child. i don’t know if we were being rushed, it was a bad day or what but that was more than enough for me to not want to return. braids, blow outs, natural styles.. whatever, i’ve never in 3 years seen or heard my daughter react that way in a chair. in fact, i’m used to keeping her in the salon while i wait outside and there are never any issues. i rate it a 2 because my daughter’s hair looked good but it absolutely wasn’t worth the experience.
