I'll start with the positive. I've used Ashley's services before and she did a good job which is why I recommended her to my family. No, I'm not a reg...ular client, however, I'm open to being a repeat customer when the need occurs. On this occasion, I'm not sure if she was having a bad week or she doesn't need new business, however, this was not a pleasant experience. After she didn't respond to a call and voicemail message during business hours, I texted her after hours as a follow up. I wanted multiple family members to get their hair done and was having difficulty booking through the app. She was a bit rude through text but did apologize. I still booked an appointment and used my card to hold the reservation (subject to the cancellation fee). I did not visit the salon on the day of the appointment. At the end of the appointment, I received multiple calls from Ashley. Instead of using the card on file, she requested I send the money through other means. Since I wasn't present, I obliged her request but would have preferred she used my card. When I asked my family members about their experience, they noted she made some inappropriate comments during the appointment. I would love to support this business but I nor my family will be returning. Show more

Out of almost 200 (5 star) reviews ironically you are the only negative review I have ever received. I’m not sure why you were able to write a review although you never visited my business. ALL of my clients know that I do not fratinize or hang on my phone out of respect of their booked time. In doing this I may miss a call during the day. Sometimes I work 13 hour days and when I get off of work I am simply exhausted. I am a mother of 5. I have to set healthy boundaries. I was very professional when responding to your 10 pm text. The day of the appointment your family members showed up 1 hour early which was 6am in the morning. I was awaken out of my sleep at 6am but out of courtesy decided that because they were there already I would come into work early to take care of the client. I did not know that there would be 2 additional people (who were not being serviced). Also both heads were in poor condition. I went above and beyond to make sure that both clients were overly taken care of. I even provided a detangle service, loc repair service, and a detox service FREE of charge because the locs were in such bad shape. This review is fraudulent because you were not at apt. I also understand that in this business I can not please everyone. I will, however continue to give the best service I am capable of giving.
