This was my child's first time at this barbershop. He usually sees a regular barber, but due to an unexpected cancellation by our main barber, we need...ed to find someone last minute. I chose this place because of the 5-star reviews and appreciated that they were able to take us for a walk-in, even though the appointment was originally scheduled for the next day. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. I asked for a light trim on the top, but the front was cut much shorter than expected — almost chopped. After we got home, I noticed that both his bangs and the back of his hair were uneven. While I admit there may have been a misunderstanding in how the sides should be done, the owner later mentioned that a photo would have helped. I just wish that had been brought up at the start — it could have made a big difference. Lesson learned: not every barber will automatically know what kind of cut you're asking for without a clear visual. To add to the frustration, I was charged $35 even though I had selected the $30 service when booking online. The haircut wasn’t styled at all, which made the higher price even more surprising. I do appreciate them fitting us in on short notice, but the end result and communication left us disappointed. Unfortunately, we won’t be returning. Show more
