Well let me start by saying I’m glad you love how your braids look and I’m very sad that your experience led you to write this review. I would like to address a few things however. First, you requested a color that I don’t typically have and did not inform me of which color you wanted prior to the appointment so I could pick it up and provide it free of charge. In order to ensure you kept your appointment time, I asked if you wanted to get the color you wanted and then I would braid with it that day. You agreed and brought me the hair. You then demanded that two people braid your hair, but I am a one woman business. I asked my daughter to come and help me per your request and she did. When two people provide a service, it is polite to tip both. I’m not going to even approach the fact that you insulted my daughter by calling her “hood” because that is just plain rude and disgusting. Also the braids you originally selected in your booking were medium box braids which cost $220+ normally which includes the $50 deposit. The braids you ended up receiving due to your hair type and requests were small braids which are in the $250+ range. I only charged you $220 total despite having to do more work and having another person assist me. The additional cost you added after the $20 tip was solely from the hair you bought to keep your appointment time. You received a discount and a beautiful set of braids and I stand by the work of myself and my daughter.
