Amazing loctician, but … Getting cornrows is a different story. I got cornrows done by Malana, and I didn’t get the style I asked for. I asked for 6 ...cornorws, but I got 8 instead. When I decided to take them down, I got knots due to the braids being too tight and I ended up losing a portion of my hair that I wanted to keep. Overall, I would not recommend getting cornrows from Malana. However, she is a nice woman who provides great service and does a fantastic job with locs. So if you need or know someone who needs locs done come to Malana! Show more

wonderful woman. my daughter, who doesnt like anyone, was very comfortable with her. stylist was quick and efficient.. communicated well. salon atmosp...here was relaxed which is great for us introverts. mrs malana will definitely be our stylist while we are in the waco area. Show more

Amazing work i loved the atmosphere, it made me feel like i was home with family. She took her time and made sure everyrhing was top tier highly reco...mmend her services. I am restarting my dread journey with a twist with reattaching my dreads from 2020. I grew them for 6 years and decided to cut them. She made it look like i never cut them and made them look better 10/10!!!!!!! Show more

I have never been to a salon, much less a stylist and Malana did not disappoint. I absolutely loved the atmosphere of the place, the women, amazing co...nversation and good music. It felt like I was visiting family! I have a looser curl texture and wanted starter locs. My hair was pretty short as well. I got two strand twist/small/c-parting. And Malana delivered every single aspect. She’s well versed in the health and wellness of locs and gave me lots of pointers. I definitely felt as if I made a friend!
