While the barbershop had an excellent atmosphere, the experience was a little confusing. I created the appointment on Booksy with the barber, Steve, a...ccording to the app, for only a haircut ($30). When I arrived, I was waved over by one of the barbers. When I asked if he was Steve, he stated yes and began cutting my hair after I stated what I wanted. He began adding extra services that I did not request but could not stop the services as he had already begun them without asking. At the end of the services, the barber stated that he only took Cash or CashApp. When he gave me his number for payment, it was for a person named Muhammad. My wife discovered from one of the other barbers that my barber was not Steve as well. Clearer communication and expectations would have made this service 5 stars, but after the encounter, it felt more like someone else stole services from the barber that I made the appointment with and was hustled extra services.
