Each time I see Khalik he seems to get better and better at his craft. This guy provides a superior haircut and I am so happy for weeks at a time afte...r getting exactly the cut I had hoped for. Khalik is very focused on detail, and his unique approach leads to a result that looks great even weeks later as my hair grows. He is great at what he does, and the shop itself is always high energy and filled with friendly people. Great experience every time!

New to the area so I am on the lookout for a new barbershop. I booked an appt thru Booksy for a haircut with Khalik Monroe. I asked for a skin fade ar...ound the sides and to trim the top so that the length would gradually shorten going towards the back. I showed him a recent photo of myself with the exact haircut I desired. Unfortunately, the entire experience was suboptimal. Throughout the entire fade process, he aggressively pushed into my scalp and it was uncomfortable. The fade itself turned out well. However, it was definitely rough and I can feel some folliculitis starting to form in the lower portions of my fade. He then cut too much off the front of the top and then told me to either “buzz the top or wait for it to grow back” since he had already cut off too much. Johnny was working next to Khalik and noticed my frustration. He then tried to help salvage the remainder of my hair. However, the damage was already done. Overall, would not recommend. Too aggressive and gave up on my hair once he made a mistake. The search continues.
