I don’t like to write negative reviews, but I’ve decided to start doing my hair on my own from now on. This situation was ultimately my fault. When I ...first arrived, the stylist offered to blow-dry my hair, and I thanked her, realizing that I had forgotten to ask for it. However, just three minutes later, she began working on my hair and completely forgot about the blow-drying. After a while, I reminded her that I thought she was going to blow-dry it first. She picked up the blow dryer and spoke to her friend in French, mentioning something that included the word “hair,” which I sensed was a smart remark. At that moment, I should have left, but my daughter wanted her hair done. As she blow-dried my hair, I could tell she had an attitude, and her technique was poor. She spent less than a minute blow-drying my hair, and at that point, I should have walked out. I thought to myself that this would be the last time I would return with my daughter. I intended to pay her and leave. However, it wasn’t until my husband pointed it out today that he realized she hadn’t braided my hair all the way to the ends in the back, and she missed sections of my hair entirely. She knew she missed this part of my hair but its ok. I always tip. That's why I only gave her 80.00 That's why my husband didn't tip them for our daughter's hair. He was about to tip but what she said in French to her friend and the way she handled my hair while she was blow-drying. Im done with wasting my money. Hey Charvel! Greetings to you, daughter & husband. I’ve been braiding you & family for 2 years now (8 times total). Always appreciated you all. I’ve started braiding you from my house till I got my shop now. This time the style you pick was for ur own hair and your hair was very soft /smooth. That’s what I discussed with my colleague doing the blow dry, to see if more blow dry wouldn’t turn it smoother what will make it too delicate to fixe the edges as they can undone quick. So in fact with this type of smooth hair if you don’t add hair it's not easy for edges to hold. I like and appreciate you submit this negative review as I need feedbacks from all my clients. But again this inconvenience is directly linked to your soft hair. But it’s ok, this type of situation can happen and, but it happens to me very rarely. As I said because I appreciate you as a client reason why I came during a snow day paying $26 Uber just for you. Your appnt was at 4:45pm but I waited for you till 5:30pm (1h). Again i didn’t mind, I wanna take care of my loyal customers. I don’t worry abt tips or even the payment, I prefer the happiness of my clients. If you want, tell me any time you are ready to come back, i'll braid you for free. Thanks again.
