The stylist did a good job straightening my daughters hair, I just wished she would’ve talked with me about the trim before she did because I wanted ...it cut not a trim and I told her that a couple times but it felt like she wasn’t understanding that. my daughters hair has a lot of breakage so the trim just makes it look choppy because it’s uneven due to her breakage. I also was confused on price because we booked the $60 silk out Sunday which says that includes the trim in price when booking (photo reference below) but at the end it was a total of $75 we paid. Stylist was polite but didn’t feel welcoming. After the appointment I commented that it was pretty because it was nicely done and very silky regardless of the trim and although it wasn’t what I was expecting it was still pretty. the stylist was clearly ready to go since she quickly cleaned her area and was already turning off lights hence why I didn’t say anything. After all is said and done it wasn’t a major deal but I’m just leaving my honest review of my experience. Show more

Thank you for your feedback. You asked my advice on what should be trimmed but did not specify a length, so I made the decision based on the health of your daughter’s hair. After the service you complimented how pretty it looked, and if you had wanted more cut off, that could have been said and done on the spot. The Silk Out Sunday special covers the silk out only; trims and other extras are an additional charge, which is why your total was higher than $60. My goal is always healthy results and professionalism. But If you feel as if youre not going to trust the stylist , that is when you be extremely specific on where you want the cut to be , not leave it open to the stylist to decide. Any concerns could have been shared during the appointment or after so I can address them immediately.
