Rating: 2/5 I recently booked an appointment for straight-back braids with natural hair at this salon through Booksy. My appointment was scheduled fo...r 4:30 PM, and I arrived 10 minutes early. Unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory, and I believe other potential clients should have an awareness of the conditions. Pros: • The stylist assigned to me was polite and reserved. • The braids themselves are tight and neat, though the parts could have been straighter. • Decent price for said style. Cons: • The shop itself was small, cramped, and lacked adequate parking. There were about 7-8 stylists working in a space that seemed ill-equipped for that many. • While I had prepped my hair by washing, conditioning, and blowing it out before arriving, there didn’t appear to be a proper wash station, and I wasn’t offered this service. For a professional establishment, this was surprising. • The workstations were cluttered, and the stylists had to share essential tools like braiding gel, rubber bands, and hair dryers. At one point, stylists were reaching over me to grab products, which made me uncomfortable. • The overall atmosphere felt unprofessional. Many of the stylists were laughing and joking loudly, mostly conversing in their native language, which added to the chaos of the space. • During my appointment, one stylist even threw a balled up apron/cape across me to a windowsill, which felt disrespectful and unhygienic. • The seating arrangement was inadequate, with only two chairs for waiting clients and little space for anyone to comfortably sit without being in the way of stylists accessing the shared dryer or their stations. In summary, the professionalism, courtesy, and basic amenities that I expect from a salon were missing. While my braids look fine, the overall experience made me uncomfortable, there is lots of room for improvement. Show more

First time here. Got the crochet passion twist took less than 2 hours. Quick and clean. A little expensive but my stylist did a good job.

This is the 2nd time I have gotten my hair done without any complaints the staff is friendly. Prices are reasonable and affordable and not over charge...d like others… the hair braider checks in with you to make sure your parts are straight and the braids aren’t to tide. They also provide the braiding hair unless you prefer to bring your own. Definitely going back :) Show more

I really like their online booking system so when I got there, they knew exactly what I was getting. The ladies greeted with a smile; when they star...ted working on my hair, they didn’t pull like other braiders do. I hardly felt them doing the twists and at times, I dozed off. I enjoyed the atmosphere and the place was clean. I definitely will be coming back for my hair needs. Show more
