I moved to Charleston ~4 years ago and have gone a lot of different stylists to find the right person for me. I have wily curly hair and am picky. Wit...h all that said, I think Genevieve is one of the best hairstylists in Charleston, hands down. Coming from Arizona, I had never really dealt with the humidity that is Charleston (my hair was a frizzy nest!), and she recommended Brazilian blowouts, which really helped my hair feel healthier and smoother without interfering with the curl. I have gone to her for cuts, hair color, Brazilian blowouts and updo hairstyling, and she has never disappointed me. She is easy to schedule with, and she will be your hype woman during your entire appointment. She is also super detail-oriented and will make sure your haircut/color/do is exactly what you wanted and looks good before you leave. 10/10 Highly, highly recommend. Show more

I’ve never reviewed a haircut before, but I tell ya, I really enjoyed getting my hair cut by Genevieve. She had great energy and a great welcome when ...I showed up. She took her time and gave me the exact haircut I wanted. Had great conversation throughout the haircut which is definitely better than just sitting in the chair at one of the “basic” haircut places. I live an hour from the salon, but I will definitely be back when it’s time for another haircut. Show more
