I’m extremely happy with my haircut from Jay at APX Barbers. After moving from Chicago to Sarasota, I was honestly nervous about switching barbers and... finding someone who would take his time and get the cut right. Jay absolutely delivered. He’s highly skilled, detail-oriented, and extremely personable. The conversation was effortless—it felt like he had been my barber for years. Jay is a true professional and a master at his trade. It would seem that the art of the master barber has been lost to chains of quick clip shops whic...h charge exactly what their cuts are worth and treat you as such. I went for years, resigned to the notion that my hair really wasn’t that big of a deal and that I should just do the minimum to get by. I never thought twice. When my wife purchase a gift card to have a cut with Jay it was more than eye opening. I left with more than a great hair cut. I left with a sense of self worth which has made a true difference. My friends noticed. My wife noticed. I’ve noticed… you get exactly what you pay for. Self care isn’t just a fancy fad. It’s actually doing something for yourself that can change the way you feel and that can change much more than just your looks.
