Straight Razor Shave

I took my son for a hot shave. The female provider here did a good job and was very service oriented, polite, and was careful and took her time, I wou...ld’ve given just her five stars. But the atmosphere in the shop was really stressful, my son felt it as well and told me after he felt disturbed and stressed throughout his entire service when it’s supposed to be relaxing, listening to the guy who was cutting hair next to him. There were only two people working in the shop, though woman that did my son who was good, and the guy who had a running commentary and was tough to keep listening to him. And all I did was sit on the couch in the waiting area and wait for my son and the only other provider, the guy with gray hair, kept making jokes about me, commenting on my allergies, I was sneezing because the shop was very dusty, and he said I was allergic to chocolate because I had some of their Halloween candy, he also made fun of my clothing. I had on striped leggings at the bottom really like a balayage, but he kept calling me Beetlejuice. And it was really annoying to hear him talk about other customers in a derogatory way. Customers that already left the store, I know some people just don’t have a filter, but I would definitely not go back. My son would not go back because of this guy. Seemed like he was a owner or a managere.,I don’t have the name. Show more

Whoooooooah, disturbed & stressed? We were a little disturbed to find out a college student was showing up to a barbershop with his Mom for a shave! You sneezing all over our candy bowl was more than stressful. Then you have the gall to tell us our shop is Dusty? 1 word BEETLEJUICE !

Aryah is without a doubt the most talented stylists I’ve ever come across. I would let myself go Tom Hanks Castaway style before I allow anyone else t...o cut my hair. She is a perfectionist and a savvy conversationalist. However, the overall vibe of this place, including her colleagues, makes the experience 5/5. They are all friendly, accommodating (offering refreshments/candy) and the place is consistently spotless. I swear there is never more than 10 strands of hair on the floor at any given time.
