John did a fantastic job with my hair. I really appreciated that he took the time to talk everything over and make sure I was happy with my haircut. A...side from the haircut being one of the best I've had in a while, John also helped me find a parking spot nearby since Congress St is under construction and has no parking. The attention to detail and commitment to helping me out really made this haircut worthwhile (super reasonably priced for the experience). The shop itself is also lively and you can tell everyone is happy and having a great time. I will definitely be returning to see John in the future to continue getting a great cut. John is an artist with hair - he was one of the first barbers/hair dressers I met where this clearly wasn’t just a job for them, but a passion. I was... open to a change with my hair and he had a vision which he clearly explained, and then he made sure to check in with me beforehand as well as along the way. His instruction on styling was also helpful. This might be the first time I’ve ever looked good on both sides of my face rather than having a “good side” and a “bad side”, and I give credit to John’s work for that. Show more
