Personally it was not the best experience. I had booked in advance with Alex for a hair styling for 10/21/23. My appointment was at 9 am I arrived on ...time and to my surprise no one was there. Someone texted me saying if I could text I said yes and that I was there for a 9 am hairstyling appointment with Alex. The person states she was almost there but then a minute later the person stated that Alex was unavailable due to a family emergency. Which I completely understand those things are not for seen. I was told I’d be in good hands with another employee. Do not get me wrong the girl was super sweet but I literally asked for a super simple hair styling which by the way she didn’t complete. She took almost 2 hours just to curl my hair and I needed to be somewhere at a specific time. I was not going to be rude and not pay so I paid and left. Honestly that was not really what bothered me. What bothered me was that they were not transparent and honest with me. I follow both of these girls accounts and they were out of town doing makeup and hair for a bride team and the bride. I completely understand they would be earning way more out of a wedding make up and hair. But they could have been honest with me and let me know a day in advance or hours in advance that Alex would not be available. And I would have understood. Not just say she was coming and then say something else and then have someone who is just starting with hair to deal with me. Honestly it was a very unpleasant experience and I don’t know if I’ll return. I was extremely excited because they were highly recommended. I guess it was just not my luck. Show more

I booked an appointment for a Bridal makeup trial with Sonia.. the makeup is VERY important to me since I’ll be center of attention. the staff is supe...r friendly, the energy is great fun and enjoyable. But unfortunately Sonia was too busy for me but attended another person that showed up 30 minutes after my appointment so i felt like she ponded me off with someone else, and the makeup was NOT flattering whatsoever, doesn’t look like a professional did it. I asked for a Smokey eye, full coverage with a red red lip. I was really bummed when I walked out. Thank god it was only a trial, imagine if it was my wedding day SMH. The saddest part to me was that Sonia surprisingly had time to charge me and allowed me to walk out looking like that. Show more

We booked for makeup with Sonia for my niece’s quince, we arrived at her scheduled time let me tell you we had a limited time to have her ready by the...y didn’t get to her until after 15 mins after arrival since the makeup girl was on break. I understand they were booked with a full bridal party but we wanted her makeup done by Sonia which is who we thought was going to do her makeup since I seen and trusted her work, instead we got a trainee makeup assistant annnnddd let me tell you her work was HORRIBLE foundation off tone, eyeshadow not blended, lipstick not even fully on lips, flase eyelashes you could see the clear band and eyeshadow all over them and she looked extremely shiny since she over sprayed so much mac fix plus on her! I believe her name is beautyy_bybrii on IG. Yes I get people want to use there trainees on people to gain more knowledge and makeup experience but PLEASE not for weddings/quince any major event in someone’s life should be off limits for trainees for the price I paid 125$ for this horrible work we had to wash off immediately and just redo ourselves in a matter of quickly 20-30 mins and get her to photos at her event! The only thoughtful thing I would say is Sonia did send another assistant to touch up our work at her event even though we refused she insisted and also refunded us $50 dollars, after calling and letting her know we were not satisfied with her makeup. After what could have gone wrong went wrong she looked beautiful. Moral of the story I would really just make sure who you book with and don’t let anyone else do your makeup if you aren’t familiar with their work. Show more

I wanted to give a big shoutout to the new Beauty Lounge that just opened up in Fresno…. Makeup by Sonia Tello & Co. hair by Alex. My family and I rec...ently used them for makeup and hair service for a wedding but there customer service is what blew us away. All the girls that worked there provided excellent customer service from makeup to their hair service. From start to finish they were professional, friendly and looked like they really enjoy there job. They even provided champagne and strawberries for us to enjoy while listening to music and the vibes were amazing as well. Even though we weren’t able to have Sonia do one of our makeup sessions that day, I feel the other makeup artist were great. I would like to come back and get my makeup done by Sonia and my hair by Alex to have the experience but I feel the teamwork of girls working there make it comfortable to let anyone work on your makeup up and hair.
