Kids Knotless braids (10-13yrs)

Everything about our experience with Ellen's place was positive. Ellen made contact with me yesterday to confirm the appointment. She provided her lin...k within an hour or so of us speaking. When we arrived, we were welcomed and my daughter didn’t have to wait long for her appointment to begin. There's a wall of hair colors, she provided really good suggestions, and was very patient while my kiddo made her decision. I like how she said to her “okay come with me” when it was time to begin. The appointment didn’t seem like it went too fast or too slow. I could tell time was taken to get them done right by how they turned out. The parts were consistent and straight throughout. Her individual braids were symmetrical and not too loose. Her hair didn’t smell chemically and her edges were protected. The braids are immaculate. On the way home kiddo said “Ms. Ellen slayed” and that her hair “ate”. I don’t know what any of that means, BUT I know it’s a good thing because she was really excited about her hair. I would rather wait on this kind of quality, it’s really worth it. From a Dad’s perspective, she wasn’t raking away or yanking at kiddo’s hair or anything. Ellen’s got gentle gifted hands with good energy. Her shop is in a great location, parking wasn’t hard to find, and Ellen charges a fair price. Also, I felt welcomed the whole time. One of her clients was leaving while I was there and even they were nice to me. The couch in the waiting area is crazy comfortable. There’s a corner store up the street if you need a red bull. We’re definitely going back. Show more
