My experience at tru nail spa was my first and last. The place is elegant with a soft touch but the my experience with the assigned staff (male manage...r ) to my nails was not great. It also appears no one checks Booksy because when I walked in and mentioned I had an appointment, it appeared it was uncertain the services I requested. I wasn’t even given the manicure I checked on Booksy. I was immediately jumped into the acrylic. Despite me expressing the services I booked for. So I find Booksy being pointless to this salon. Firstly, the shape size of my nails were not the same size. Each shape was shaped differently although I requested coffin. On top of that the filing/ buffering process was very rough and I started to lightly bled at my cuticle area. Later, my toe nails that were done by my pedicure happened to smudge and after cleaning it up the staff member (male manager), put a coat and let it dry. After 10 minutes he left the building and never came back. I was still waiting and it’s almost 20 minutes now. The lady, LEE was the one who not only did my pedicure but she did it with so much care. Despite her having her own customers she still attended to me. I explained it to her the disliking of my nail shape because it’s incorrect and she also saw it misshaped. She and the other female staff member tried looking for the the male manager but he was no where to find and completely forgot he had a customer. It seemed a rush transaction where he just wanted payment. Lee came to me and fixed my nails for me. It isn’t completely to my liking but what made me happy to leave at least somewhat happy is her attentiveness and effort in fixing them. She filed each nail delicately and to the correct shape to my liking. She also asks me continuous time if I liked and made sure to ask me during the process. The manager did not and he did it everything hasty. The manager did a terrible job a very fast one. She fixed her MANAGERS mistake when he should be the one on the floor all times and attentive to customer being a role model. She also fixed my toe nail and even offered the salon sandals to help when the previous person who is In charge of the store didn’t even suggest it to me considering my issue with the drying process. Personally, Lee should be recognized seeing her work so diligently, smoothly, quick, considerate and detail oriented. I would not recommend this place to my friends, especially due to lack of attentive care by the manager himself. It’s one thing to receive from a staff member but completely ignorant by a manager. Even the prices were off with the price he told me and the price on Booksy. I was charged $45 for my acrylics when it says $35 and when I tried to dispute that with him he told me because it’s this and that. Maybe because I had a $15 off coupon is why I was made to pay the additional $15. Didn’t not feel right. I paid my $32 pedicure because that’s the package I selected. Lee is very honest and clean with her work. So I thank her and truly appreciate her efforts with me and sincerely hope she is being treated well and honestly. I left a review on Groupon and now on Booksy. Below are attached pictures of the managers work. Who’s name is under the appointment. Show more

When it comes to gel x this is a great spot. I paid $55 for my nails and I think it's a totally fair price. The service was quick and the workers poli...te. They do accept card to pay for whatever treatment you get but only accept cash for tip and the ATM costs and extra $1 so don't forget to bring some cash! Came here recently for the first time and got my nails done by Amy. She was quick yet thorough and gentle. I always end up with cuts and burns from ot...her technicians at other places that take forever but not here with Amy. I walked out with perfect nails and fingers! Definitely will be coming back to her. Show more

I don't recommend getting GelX here. They do not have pre shaped nails so they took extremely long filing down the square shape to stiletto, and even ...looked a bit crooked. Their process is also very strange l, they did not fully remove my old gel X. I've been to 5 other salons in the area and have been getting my nails done in Hollywood area for years prior. These GelX started popping off after 1.5 weeks, and my thumb nail tip broke off after 1 week. Very weak tip extensions. It was pretty crowded, however they did a pretty good pedi. I got white which is difficult, it came out clean and still fresh looking over 3 weeks. Prices are pretty reasonable, but I prefer a faster job and longer lasting extensions. In my opinion lowercpeice is NOT worth it. Show more

Why are customers still required to pay when the nail tech messes up and doesn't acknowledge that they did a bad job?? I've had the occasional chipped... paint or miss shaped nail but an issue with every single nail??? No, never!!! This guy is clearly new and by all means get your hustle on but practice first!!! I'm so overwhelming disappointed with the outcome after sitting for two hours. From the acrylic application to the shape of the nail and the paint... just one fail after another!!! And I got this done on 12/21/22... it hasn't even bee a full 24 hours and my nails are chipped... not the paint but the nail! Show more

I was around the area and was in desperate need for a pedicure, honestly one of the most relaxing experiences I have experienced at a nail salon ! I g...ot the $32 pedicure with gel nail polish. Sam is so gentle and pays attention to detail, he took out my ingrown and I didn't feel a thing !! Amazing massage with hot stones! He was also very patient when I asked to see more than one color! Make sure to get your pedis with Sam (I went on a Wednesday around 2pm, I was seen immediately ;) ) Just wished they had drinks to offer good thing I brought my coffee lol Show more

It was my first time coming here and I think it's safe to say that I will be coming back. I'm very picky as to where I go to for my pedicure but I'm s...o glad to have found this salon. I love that it's close enough to my house, so it'll be very convenient whenever I feel like getting a my nails done again. My experience was quick and very welcoming. I called for a pedicure appointment for my boyfriend and I and by the time we got there, we were accompanied immediately. We went with The Signature Sea Salt pedicure which was $32, which was worth it. I asked for a trim and a square shape and my lady did not disappoint! It was so relaxing and our ladies were very gentle with us. I wish I got their names but they were so kind and did an amazing job. I am very satisfied. Already looking forward to my next visit. They do good work when they take their time.. but they tend to rush and pass you off on other techs. I don't like that it's unprofessional.
