Joelle is a skilled artist and a a genuinely friendly dude. My 6 year old son and I take advantage of the father/son deal. My son gets always gets a v...ery stylish fade with designs on the side. I am pretty bad at describing what I want, and Joelle is super patient and is able to intuit what will look good on both of us. My son and I get compliments on our cuts almost immediately after walking out of the shop. I like his attitude, skills and prices. Pure Hair Studios has a super friendly and welcoming vibe. All of the artists there are very welcoming and super inclusive. No matter who you are, you are included in conversations and there are always a multitude of smiles and friendly banter. This place is family friendly and affordable, easy to book via Booksy and just has a great mellow and professional vibe. These guys are doing it right. Show more

Joelle always takes his time in getting to know your hair and what you want to do with it. I never have to worry about a bad cut bc he always checks i...n with me throughout the appointment to make sure I like it. He's super chill, professional, and great barber. Highly recommend. Also great with piercings!! It's super hard to find a barber who won't nick new/healing piercings so he's definitely my go to guy. Show more
