The worse experience!!! I arrived to my appointment at 9:56 am because I had a 10:00 am appointment time. When I arrived the gates were closed. So imm...ediately I began panicking. I assumed my appointment was forgotten and/or I was scammed out of my deposit. Nonetheless I called the number on the store window and spoke to someone. She stated she was awaiting a cab and that my appointment time wasn’t until 10 am. Now, at this time of calling it was 9:58! The person seemed rude and annoyed when I asked her ETA. Anyway I waiting for her to arrive and allowed a few mins for her to open the salon. When I get to the door immediately her body language was horrendous. She was mad at me for being on time! I couldn’t believe it! She did not greet me with a Good morning in our initial encounter and said I wasn’t considerate because “things happen”! I yoke her she could have sent a text or caked if she were running late. Communication is professional and I understand things happen outside of our control sometimes. Anyhow I ended up giving her a piece of my mind while insisting she return my deposit for being so rude! She returned it and I left! The unprofessionalism I experienced here was uncanny and if you are looking to book here BEWARE!! Also the area is horrible so many drug attics linger in front of this establishment! My first experience with Beauty Bar VIP and I was pleasantly surprised. I was cautious at first because I haven't been to a salon in 6 years and I'm v...ery protective of my hair, but Pauline took amazing care of me! She was very informative about the state of my hair and educated me on different products to use to keep my hair healthy. She made sure my hair was well hydrated and heat protected before doing my silk press and it came out incredible! I'll definitely be back regularly for trims and future silk presses! Show more
