Shy has consistently provided stellar services for a little under a year now. I was so glad to receive a referral for her. I was new to the San Antoni...o area and it had been months since I had maintenance. Not only is she highly skilled and attentive to my needs, I always leave her chair feeling more confident. My hair has grown tremendously and the compliments have been nonstop. I highly recommend her if you are looking for someone who is truly gyfted, trustworthy, and actually takes her time to make sure you are satisfied! Big shout out to shy. I can’t thank her enough. She got me lookin right before my trip to Dallas. She always come through. She is very professional, v...ery knowledgeable with her skills of doing hair. She always takes her time when doing my starter locs. The products she recommended me using on my hair definitely made a tremendous difference from 4 months ago when I first got my starter locs until now. Her parts are always crisp and straight, none of that crooked stuff some people be having in they head. Get with her if you tired of your stylist messing your head up , shy gone get you right every time. She the truth, best in the city! Shy is very patient .. she did my sons hair and although I switched up the style last minute she showed me everything she had to offer. It was my sons... first time getting his hair done. There were tears shed but he was very happy after the first braid. Very lucky I found Shy Show more

How did Gyfted Handz do well, I scheduled an appt at 5:30pm for Sept 26th. She had other open time slots for 5pm & 5:15pm and I texted her to let her... know that we were going to try and get there at 5:15pm depending upon traffic even tho we had it scheduled appt for 5:30pm she texted back I have a client at 3pm but he’s getting hair added so not sure what time I’ll be done with him but I’ll let y’all knw. So mind you we have a scheduled appt, if that was going to be and issue she should have said cancel that appt and schedule for a later time slot or took off that time slot from booksy so that time wouldn’t be booked! So we come to the shop around 5:03pm no one greeted us, no one asked if we had an appt or needed help with anything ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. Sat there until 6pm when one of the barbers spoke to us on his way outside! Still nothing from the hair dresser. I’m watching. So I decided to text Hello! Are we in the right place? No response, so I called and asked how much longer she said about 30 mints. So the guys hair she was doing had about 6-8 braids that she was adding hair too and she suggested that he get his sides faded. He’s been there since 3pm supposedly! So she walked over and said your the appt person (something to that) I said yes been here the whole time waiting, she said she thought we were with the other kid that came in before us and I said nope, you didn’t ask, nobody asked. How would you know anything! She also said she thought we were still at home. And this was her first time ever doing our hair or seeing us! (but that is no excuse) So I asked her can you at least wash his hair mind you it’s 6:10pm she did that and then tried to blow dry his hair and stopped to work on the other guys head again because he was placed under the dryer for his hair to set. So we waited again until 7:10pm when she started on the the boys head again and didn’t get done until 9:30pm. I’m here to support our people I’m all for it, but I was very disappointed with the customer service and the punctuality of our appt that we had! So we were there 4 1/2 hrs for some straight back cornrows! My single braids in my hair as a female took 4 hours. If he didn’t have pics coming up we would have left the establishment! She did apologize but at that point I was done! She did do a good job on the braids I give her that they were straight & neat! We have to be better & do better! Show more
