Zay does great work however his personal policy is fraudulent. First and foremost I booked my appointment and was charged the full amount prior to rec...eiving services. The cancellation policy clearly states you will be charged for your services AFTER completion. Not only that it states you will be charged a FEE for any cancellations or no shows. Nowhere does it state you forfeit your full service amount including the tip! I understand time is money and it’s unfortunate I was put in a situation where I couldn’t get ahold of him 45 min after my scheduled appointment. I have no excuse. I’m dissatisfied with the experience because it was a complete disregard of my situation without even a compromise to rebook another time. I would of been fine with the fee and a rebook; not what I just experienced. Show more

I took my 3yo grandson to get professional braids for the first time. The place was spacious, clean and well equipped. The stylist, Zay, was pleasan...t and polite. Also, he was on time for our appointment which is important to me. He is very skilled in braiding hair and had various hair products and supplies for Oliver's hair style. Initially, I thought the price was too expensive, but once I saw the work he put in, I thought the price was reasonable. I think as Zay becomes more experienced with younger clients, he will have a 5 star business. I was pleased with the service and Oliver's braids look great! I would book a return visit and recommend Zay at Zay Stylez. Show more

It was my first time meeting Zay. My daughter got her starter locks done. He’s very professional and persistent. Before he started her hair he broke ...it down to her what to do with her hair after it is done and not to have it done and take it out, something I kept telling her as well. Her hair is very neat, nice and it did not take long at all. Very great service. I would recommend him to others for sure. Show more
