I found My Beauty Place through an internet search and it came up with a lot of very high ratings so that a big motivator for me to try it. Additional...ly, it was a locally-owned business and not a chain and I prefer to support local businesses. To top it off it was woman AND minority-owned which is also important to me. When I entered the salon, Tai greeted me with a smile and was able to seat me quickly. It helps to come early. I'm a guy and, while it is a salon which tends to gear towards women, Tai asked me what style I was looking for and paid close attention to my many demands about length and style. Throughout the haircut, she asked me how it looked and took her time to make sure she got it right. She even helped cut areas e.g. eyebrows where I was unaware hair was getting out of hand. It was a great cut and a great conversation at a reasonable price. I highly recommend going there. Show more

Was able to get my hair cut on a Sunday afternoon last minute, I was very impressed with how fast Taiwo cut my hair and gave me a fade I’m ready to ge...t pictures taken Monday afternoon! Would definitely recommend they are open Monday thru Saturday, and Sundays by Appointment 1–5pm! Show more
