I’ve been getting my hair cut by Debbie (a.k.a. Dladybarber) for years now. Even followed her when she moved to Mr. J’s Barbershop in Westfield — and ...at this point, I’m not sure if I’m loyal to the cut or just low-key in a committed relationship with my barber. My wife is convinced it’s the latter. Every time I come home looking fresh, she gives me that side-eye like, “You seeing her or just getting a haircut?” And honestly… yes. 😏 Debbie’s the real deal. She’s got the hands of a surgeon, the fade game of a legend, and the confidence of someone who knows your hairline better than you do. I walk into that shop looking like I’ve been through a rough week, and I walk out like I’ve got weekend plans… even when I don’t. She’s funny, professional, always on point, and somehow makes sitting in a chair for 30 minutes feel like therapy with clippers. There’s a reason I don’t let anyone else touch my head — even though my wife keeps saying I’m “emotionally unavailable after a fresh fade.” But in all seriousness — if you’re not getting your cut from Dladybarber, you’re doing your hair a disservice. Mr. J’s is a clean, friendly, no-BS shop with real barbers who take pride in what they do. And Debbie? She’s the MVP with a clipper in one hand and a whole fan club in the other. Highly recommend.
