      We start by filling off top layer of polish. Acrylic is them soaked in acetone before being nudged off the nail. Hard gel is filed as thin as possible without hitting the natural nail and then a clear top and base are applied over the nail so it can grow out. Hard gel cannot be soaked off, it must be grown out and trimmed. *Because I am not the one who applied the product and cannot guarantee what was used or the condition of the product, an extra fee is charged.

    • Hard Gel Removal

      Hard gel cannot be soaked off with acetone and therefore must be filed. Filing all the way to the natural nail is risky with hard gel. In order to remove, I file as thin as possible without hitting the natural nail and add gel polish over it until your natural nail is long enough to trim off the section with the hard gel. This process takes between 1-2 months to fully remove hard gel safely.

      Acrylic is applied to the natural nail and forms are used to extend to desired length. After filing the acrylic, gel polish is added on top. Acrylic is great for people who are looking to have their nails done for a shorter period such as a special occasion (ie. Prom, wedding, etc). Acrylic is easy to remove at home using acetone when desired. It is harder than hard gel and great for those that are a little rougher with their nails. That said, your nails are Jewels not Tools!

This product is recommended for people who plan to maintain their nails on a regular schedule and don't use their nails as tools. Hard gel cannot be soaked off using acetone and must be filed down and grown out. It also isn’t recommended if more than .5” length is desired.
