If I could give negative stars, I absolutely would. After several pictures and convos with Trae he had no idea. If I wanted to buzz it my kids hair al...l off I’d have done it at home!This child that pretends he knows what he is doing buzzed my daugher almost completely bald when all she asked for was a long cut (so she could perm the top for volume), and back v fade. There was absolutely no fade, and I had to tell him to stop as he began buzzing the hair on the top of her head - before he cut all her hair off entirely I yelled to STOP and screamed what are you doing??. We showed several photos explained what we were looking for, and spoke to the other barbers about how to do it so we knew it was “doable”. The hair he “cut” he didn’t even know how to cut to save for donation- as he cut UNDER the ponytail (this should have been my first clue), and what was left wasnt even straight. My 14 yr old daughter damn near cried- this man child was completely unphased. I would not recommend him whatsoever ever. The owner of the joint tried to to correct after the fact but way too late. Will never go back to this place, or use for Booksy- and only recommend if you want to be completely chopped! As a response to you, i’m very aware of different texture types. Hence the need for a perm. You were supposed to leave all of her hair on top and you left her with nothing but bangs! I literally asked yhe owner if you were high - because there was NO way a professional stylist does this and is satisfied with their work. we showed you and three other people at that facility in the mall the haircut and every single person said it was a doable cut because you weren’t supposed to touch any of the hair on top. That’s what my stylist was going to do when we went for the perm to help her with texture. You continued to buzz cut her hair (when you should have listnend to your client or any of the other men who told you how to do this style) with clippers until I yelled at you to stop because you almost buzzed all of her hair, clean off. I mean to anyone you can tell the pic we showed you below is nothing like the reckage I was left with. So much to the point I was approached by several other barbers that asked you what you were doing and why you didn’t take another approach. Additionally the owner of the facility that you rent your chair from, told me it would be a free cut because it was SO bad. Of all of the men in that facility you were the only one that literally laughed it off - zero empathy or care for destroying what a young kid was so looking forward too for a change. Now, if I wanted to have her with a completely buzzed head, I would’ve just buzzed it at home. It’s easy to buzz someone - there is no fade and you could not even figure out how to fade even with the owners walk thru assist. so again, if someone wants their hair buzzed completely off with zero style you’re the guy. But for anything else, you will screw up, and you have no empathy or care when you do. I highly suggest anyone to do a walkin vs scheduling with you - because the talented men that work there - they are not on Booksy.You barely offered her an apology and laughed when I explained the importance.You go ahead and tell me you left enough hair on her head to perm it - like in the photo she showed every single person in that oplace. You have no idea what your doing. Funny how the boy in the chair next to you had hair longer than my daughters and that barber had no problem whatsoever. So you’re saying because she’s a girl you couldn’t figure out how to do a V cut fade and leave the top of her hair alone. But any other barber in that shop could have. That’s not slander that’s truth. It’s what you just said which sounds very sexist. And what I’m saying isn’t slanderous when I have proof. Look up the meaning to the term slander(which is the action of a making false statement). There is absolutely nothing false about the pictures I have or the video I have that I could be posting. I understand your frustrations. I do want to address that prior to beginning the haircut, I was already under the impression that we came to an agreement of buzzing the hair from what you had said pre cut. To reiterate, before even beginning the cut, we had a clear understanding it would not look exactly like the reference picture presented as hair textures differ, and would present a different look. Have a blessed day. How about you take you and your daughter to a stylist that cuts women’s hair first off. Just like me the owner and the guy across from me told you this is a barbershop, not a salon. I specialize in MENS cuts, nowhere in my portfolio or Booksy do I have women’s cuts listed so yes you’re right I didn’t know what I was doing and that is what I told you. But you insisted with the cut now you suffering the consequences, it’s life. But what you’re not going to do is sit in my barbershop causing a scene slandering me and everyone in there because you didn’t like the end results. I talked to your daughter, I apologized and in that given moment I gave her the best possible cut. Your son leaves with a smile every time I cut his hair because that is what I do so I must know something. Thank you. Yes this is a business but don’t get it twisted talking crazy. I’m very serious about my craft and my customers, they treat me very well and I give them the best service possible. Mistakes happen, that is why I didn’t charge you for the haircut.
