Mariama is a wonderful stylist with second to none talent. Her braiding and parting are immaculate. I would recommend anyone who wants braids, exten...sions etc. go to her. Plus she is wonderful to my son who has autism and I can leave him there with her without worrying about his well being. She is very friendly and professional. She always shows up. Thank you Mariama! Absolutely unacceptable. My appointment was at 1:00 PM, and I arrived on time. I stood outside for over 30 minutes because no one would open the door..., even though someone was inside. When I finally got in, I was apologized to, but then I had to wait even longer while another client was being finished. After wasting 1.5 hours of my time, I was told they couldn’t even perform the service I had booked. The actual stylist wasn’t even there. She left her trainee to handle appointments, and after all that waiting, I was told my hair was “too soft” for the service. Then they explained that the stylist had recently given birth. Congratulations, but what does that have to do with my appointment? I booked this appointment more than five days in advance. If the stylist wasn’t available or the trainee wasn’t qualified to work on my hair, my appointment should have been canceled instead of wasting 1.5 hours of my day. I drove to the salon, arrived on time, waited patiently, and left with absolutely nothing done. No one called or texted me beforehand to let me know there was a problem. This was one of the most unprofessional experiences I’ve ever had. I will never come back, and I would never recommend this salon to anyone.
