Im confused as to what refund youre talking about, for the first appointment yes but the 2nd appointment other than the touch- up neither you did not send a deposit. Also, This is a professional platform, if youd like to leave more comments just contact my number. As far as my assistant, if you were skeptical about her coming why agree as well as invite us back for a "creative space" My work speaks for itself, I know I do a great job at what I do and will continue to do so no matter the price. the economy is declining as we speak. So yes I’ll gladly take whatever budget is acceptable for my work and my client. I do think this review is coming from a place of resentmente due to me not feeling comfortable doing you hair while also you getting a massage, I also stated my inquiries on behalf of rescheduling, so I’m confused as to how I’m a scammer all of a sudden? When our transactions have been swift and friendly.

11/2 Update: I requested a refund of my deposit that same day via Instagram messenger and she agreed to refund it. As of this morning, the refund had ...not been processed on her end so I sent another message asking for an update on my refund. She did respond saying that her deposits are non-refundable, which I absolutely understand if any of this was my fault. I booked my appointment at 3pm and was already on my way to her when she texted at 2:23pm to push the appointment to 4pm. I arrived at her apartment complex at 3:55pm and let her know that I was there. She didn’t read that message until after the two strangers requested that I go to a different place 15-18 minutes away. Keep in mind, I do not know these people and Naya has not messaged or texted me letting me know that she even knows these people. The deposit wasn’t even a lot of money. It’s the fact that she is “punishing me” for her lack of communication. You can’t treat your clients like this. I have had many retwist done by Naya before moving out of state last year. She does wonderful work so when I moved back to AZ, I reached out to book again. I originally booked a 1pm on 10/31. She messaged me shortly after asking to move the appointment to 3pm instead, which I agreed to. On the day of the appointment, she messaged me at 2:23pm to request to move it to 4pm because she was running behind on her current client. I arrived at 3:55pm, messaged her that I arrived. At 4pm, two people that I have never seen parked in front of where I was waiting, got out and asked if I was there for a hair appointment. I let them know that I was with Naya. They advised me to follow them to the apartment. When we arrived at the door, they asked me to wait outside while they put away the dogs. At this point, I checked my messages and saw that Naya had not opened or responded to my previous message letting me know that she aware of these two people bringing me to the apartment. When one of the individuals came out of the apartment, they told me that the place wasn’t in acceptable condition for my appointment and if I was okay going to a different location 15-18 minutes away. I repeated that I have a 4pm with Naya. The individual says that the other person was Naya (she wasn’t) and she would be meeting us at the other location. I, at that point, feel uncomfortable about the situation and decide to go back to my car, message Naya to cancel the appointment and request my deposit back. She didn’t respond for over 20 minutes apologizing for the inconvenience and saying that she only suggested the second location because “it is her actual place and it’s more feminine”. Mind you, I provided Naya with my cell phone number when she initially asked me to move the appointment to 4pm, so if she finishes her previous appointment earlier she could let me know (we were previously messaging on Instagram), so in theory if she wanted me to go to a different location she could have said something then or anytime before my appointment. The entire situation was just weird. I’m still waiting for my deposit back. Show more

Deposit has been sent, the reason why there was a hold up was because your version of the story is different and doesn’t quite make sense. I was the initial person who as the hairstylist was introducing themselves to a first time client, while in your story you did not know who it was who walked up to you…now if you had booked already wouldn't you identify me as the first person walking up? Also, prior to the appointment I had explained it was a full house, now at the time of your arrival was when I requested the next location which is 8 minutes away in fact, I wouldn’t bring a client that far knowingly we still are strangers to each other. Still my assistant and I wanted to respect your comfortability and go with the second option because of the first option personally wasn’t prepared in a timely manner, yes my fault. It would have been more of a feminine and less cluttered space for your comfortability, although I still appreciate the opportunity and may the rest of your day be great! 🙏🏾

What are you even talking about? I think it may be the fact that my assistant and I did not want to use your home place to “chill and create” after the touch up appointment. We were in and out within 15 minutes to fix a couple braids, while she had to use the bathroom, so please tell the story correctly.
