One of the best massages and experiences I have had! So calm and relaxing and a safe invironment. No akwardness. I struggle with finding massage thera...pists that don't hurt becuase I am pretty sensative and usually hurt for days after. This was my first time seeing Eliza as I am new to the area. I use biweekly massages as treatment for chronic pain management, and am used to very cli...nical massages with no frills. Eliza combined therapeutic massage with the comforts of a spa massage (e.g., heated moist towels on back and under neck), which was very nice. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is that I'm not used to such a thick massage oil, and felt like I couldn't get it off, and left feeling very oily and slippery. But it was nice the massage oil was warmed. And next time I'll be prepared for the post-massage oily feeling. Show more

Hi Mandy, it was great to work with you yesterday I am glad you enjoyed your experience! Thank you for your honest feedback. Part of my mission is to offer a completely natural approach to healing even down to the oils I use. Most oils and lotions have been processed and filled with emulsifiers and preservatives to alter the natural texture, make them absorb into the skin quicker, and last longer on the shelf. For my complimentary oil blend I combine avocado, sweet almond, and grapeseed which are all light-medium oils. The lotion I use is a combination of hand whipped pure unrefined shea butter, raw mango butter, virgin coconut oil and jojoba oil. These oils are all very hydrating to the skin but the shea butter has a heavier molecular construction which means it will absorb slower. I do have alternative oils and lotions for anyone who is allergic to these or do not prefer the texture. I will put it in your file to explore my oil alternatives at your next visit.
