I drove an hour to get to my appt with Germaine as I was going to be leaving town the next day. A lady opened the door & didnt greet me or anything. I... then see Germaine & she asks if I have the hair for my the passion twists she was gonna do. I told her that I'd previously mentioned to her that I have hair & had previously inquired if the cost could be credited for the hair since the cost of the style included hair. I stressed to her that her response to me was that the hair was already included. She then tells me she doesnt have the hair color I requested (mind you, this was booked about a month prior & she tells me this when I arrive for my appointment). I then tell her that I had hair in my trunk...since this was 1st appt & Im new client, I had some on back-up. She checks it out & agrees to do my hair, but before I sit in the chair, I ask if shes gonna credit the style for the price of the hair Im providing because she told me the hair was already included in the cost & she also told me when I arrived that she didnt have the color I selected from the reservation I made a month ago. She then tells me the price is the same whether I use hair she has or what I provide. I then reiterate that she doesnt have the hair & informed me it would be included even though Id told her I had my own, so i should at least be credited for supplies SHE was supposed to include cause I was ok w/ just using her hair, but she didnt have it. I told her I wasn't staying for this appointment because she didnt have the hair nor would she credit me for the hair I did have & I sense integrity issues. A two hr round trip waisted. On my way home, she then texts and asks me to cancel the appointment & but I refused because she would then have no accountability. She needs to be transparent with her clients up front, not the day of the appointment. So I cant recommend. Update After Response From Owner: Owner didnt tell me until the day of the appointment that she'd use the hair I have instead....her response to me was hair is included (see post) when I asked about bringing it. If she has proof she did, I'll gladly update this post & apologize. Owner also claims I sent her bad text msgs, but actually she texted me about cancelation on my way home & when I refused & explained why, she said she has all the texts as proof of our conversation. My response to her was that theres also written evidence in the Booksy chat of our conversations that can be included. & Yes, I did state upon booking I coukd bring my own hair, but when I inquired about being able to use it & credit the cost of the hair, first I got no answer, but on Booksy, her response was the hair was already included in the price which tells me she plans on using her own hair which I was fine with. But when I show up & am told she expected me to use my own hair & have me still pay full price for a style where she response to me in Booksy saying the hair is already included, that is not right. I wish her well, but if clients tell you they have hair & your response is its already included, then you should either deduct the hair from the price or inform the client "up front" they can bring their own hair but wont be credited for it (tell them up front, not the day of the appt). First of all, I did not take your money, and I did not provide you with services. I told you, the price with hair, without hair is the same price, but you wanted me to congratulate you with your hair, I told you it's the same money, you're angry about that, you can't price my work for me, I'm the owner of the business, If you need free services, go somewhere else, after all, I didn't take your money, even though I told you that even if you come with hair, it's the same price, but you're angry about it, you tell me you'd rather go home, and I did not take a deposit from you, and I have all the correspondence I have with you and I am posting them so they can see the proof where you said you bought the hair already. And you can't come and order from my business, you need to wear beauty and you don't want to spend, Next time go to another shop to book, i don’t want to deal like a person like you. thanks
