Knotless Braids

I am devastated and stressed. I asked in person and via text multiple times if the braider (the owner) could give me my desired look (a box braid bob)... I sent several photos, she even sent some as well, so I can envision how the ends would look, because she does not burn ends- no problem. She told me to book SMALL KNOTLESS BRAIDS so I did. We checked in at the beginning of the appointment. I showed the photo, and she reiterated she doesn't burn ends. I said No problem, the rubber bands or tying the ends are fine. I just want a nice braided bob that frames my face. Instead I got very few but very tiny knotless braids with very large parts, she curled the ends with hot water and cut them with large kitchen scissors (all over my clothes and laptop because she didnt put a cape on me) and asked if I liked it... and I asked could it be shorter she said no because my hair stops where she tied the braids and cut--but at no point during the appointment did she communicate to me that my hair would make the braids longer than the desired length (chin length bob) if I were told that I would have asked her to NOT cut the braids at the very awkward length with these weird half spiral curled ends that are clearly bluntly cut. Y'all... I am so disappointed, and I feel taken advantage of.... I was on the verge of tears when I left. If you book with them only get boho braids or goddess braids or whatever because it is clear to me that their braid skills/styling range is very limited. Nice clean shop and it was fast but I'm not kidding I look crazy and I'm damn near 40 with this crazy style I just dont understand why she did this to me. I'm soo disappointed. Show more
