As a south Asian girl with dark black hair, I have been surprised with how well Toni Salon has worked with my hair. I have been an ongoing customer fo...r around 6 to 7 months and I’ve done my keratin extensions with them 3 times. They have never let me down, and the customer service as well as all the employees are probably the best I’ve ever seen. I would recommend their extensions to everybody I know. Show more

Stuff is really rude, soon i came inside, the lot of negative energy i felt from the first stylist near by window, he start to ask me the money (400$...) and not even ask me what i want to do with my hair style...Very rude, tone of voice unacceptable. ...Just left for another place Show more

I had one of the worst experiences at DY Laser Studio in Sheepshead Bay with a technician named Yelena. Her poor advice led to a painful burn on my sk...in. Instead of taking real responsibility, she offered a “free treatment” that ended up making the damage even worse. My skin is now scarred and irritated. I trusted her as a professional, but she clearly lacks the proper knowledge and care. Avoid this place if you value your skin and safety. Show more

Don’t get k tips here. They make the bonds too thick/heavy for the amount of hair attached to them and they pull on your hair and hurt. The bonds were... also sharp rubbing against my scalp causing me scalp tenderness. I decided to take them out only 2 weeks after I got them because they were so uncomfortable. Ktip Bond’s should be very tiny and unnoticeable. They do good hair coloring here but not extensions! Please go elsewhere for extensions and save your money. Show more

I had k-tip hair extensions done at this salon and told them I wanted wet and wavy textured hair that I can style on my own while on vacation. I told ...Toni's assistant that I did not want Keratin when he suggested it because I did not want straight hair and I repeated it again on the day of service. My hair service cost $2100 dollars in total and I felt that I was trapped because they would not give an actual price for the service beforehand other than $9 per piece of each K-tip applied. They also caused excessive hair loss when removing my previous extensions before the installation began. My hair looked fine after it was done, however they then told me that they don't curl or style the hair and I was surprised to hear this. The next few days, the hair was very tangled and shedding all over my floor. I then tried took a shower and some of the ends got wet where I realized it was not curling as requested. I called, then presented to the store and explained the situation then requested for extensions to be removed and to get my money back. The assistant guy removed my extensions causing even more hairloss despite only placing the extensions for approximately 1 week!! They let me sit there while Toni was working on someone else's hair even when I told him I had to get to work and wanted a refund. Toni finally came over to me but refused to give back my money. My friend who has a hair salon on Avenue X told me that they are thieves! I didnt use her salon because I was scheduled to travel and needed my hair done quickly. She did examine the hair texture and will certify in court that the hair was no good and not even real! It certainly was not what I asked them for and Toni doesn't even want to speak with his customers on the phone. The guy was like "you can call me Toni". You deserve no stars for your poor customer service, unprofessionalism and failure to disclose that you are not properly versed in styling African American hair types!!! SEE YOU IN COURT TONI!!!!
