I’ve been seeing Carmen for my micro twist locs, and I couldn’t be happier! It’s been 6 weeks, and I’m extremely pleased with how the process has gone.... She’s very responsive, professional, and really takes the time to ensure you’re comfortable and informed about each step. My locs are looking amazing, and I’ve gotten so many compliments already. I LOVE my hair! I had it braided in singles with a French curl and they came out perfect. The women who did my hair were fast and worked as a team. Th...e owner Carmen! She is sooo kind and fun. She’s willing to listen and help you with any concerns. With semi small singles I came in at 7am and finished at around 1130/12 and it went to 12 because the hair was heavy so they cut some of it off to make it lighter. I loved my experience as a whole and it was fun to watch everyone work as a team. They were proud of the work they did and I thought it was beautiful! 😻 thanks and I will be coming back and referring friends often! Show more

the braiders were amazing great job. the time was wrong on the Google so I showed up when they were closing. with the misunderstanding. They still got... me in and braided my hair and with that I must give five stars and another thank you. hard to find in the strip mall w/google map lol but once found they’ll get you right. Show more

I had a wonderful experience at lucky locs salon! Carmen is a wonderful, knowledgeable woman who truly cares about the health of your hair. My consult...ation was informative and she even did a couple tester locs (braids and twist) so I would know what to expect on my install day. Her work is superb and while she will do the style you request she will let you know what will work best for your unique hair type. I went to her for my starter micro locs using two strand twists and I am in love with them!! I will be going back for my maintenance as well. I highly recommend Lucky Locs for anyone considering locs!! Michelle is also wonderful and they got my hair done much quicker than I was expecting. 10/10 Update: I’ve now been coming to this salon for my hair maintenance for 16 months now and I’m still very happy with the service I receive each time, as well as the progress of my hair. When making an appointment start on the website and book a consultation FIRST haha. You can book an appointment right after a consultation but that will always come first at this salon. 8/2024 Coming up on two years of working with Carmen at Lucky Locs and my hair is doing very well. I’m almost fully loc’d with healthy hair under the care of this salon. Show more

She is the exact definition of unprofessional. First she doesn’t respond to her clients, she doesn’t answer her clients calls, and she responds to que...stions clients have the day before! It’s completely ridiculous. Not only was she unprofessional, but my gf wasted SEVERAL months not gaining any progress with her locs working with them. She started in February and it is now August, she hasn’t gotten ANYWHERE with her locing process and now she has to start all over with a new loc tech who ACTUALLY cares about my baby’s hair. I’ll make sure that she won’t be going ever again. (This review is about Carmen btw.) Show more

I never received any message from your girlfriend to start with. She knows how to get hold of me. That is how she booked her apointments i don't have to answer all calls if I'm busy or away. IEach person hair is different. My job is not to grow your locs, but to help you to maintain it. It is also depend on what method you choose to go with. I believe that your girlfriend checked my works before booking. February to August is not sufficient for all type of hair to loc.
Carmen is the BEST! My son had some bad braids put in at another braider and we didn't know what to do, the day before school started! She met with us... same day and undid the damage and then instructed us on how to care for his hair until he has enough growth to get just what he wants. Can't wait to see her in a few weeks for his PROPER braids! Show more
