I showed the braider the style I wanted before I came, before they started, and even during, but the braider created larger braids and YELLED at me wh...en SHE asked if I liked it and I advised they were too big. Even while being yelled at for my REQUESTED opinion, I remained respectful but was yelled at continuously. I applaud myself for not crashing out, but I will never, ever, ever return. When I got home, I saw that they missed strands of hair so now I have a small area that isn’t braided. We work hard for our money to be disrespected when asked a simple question which could have been resolved peacefully. Totally unacceptable. They won the battle of keeping my $300 for uneven braids but the battle of having a returned client was lost. Show more
I got my hair box braided last night in under 4 hours. I had a great time and rested the majority of my time there. I love my hair. I recommend this p...lace 100%. My sister told me about this place last year and I didn’t get the chance to make it to get my hair done. I came on today, 1/23/2025 to get micro braid...s and my stylist Ms. Tabara did an awesome job. Go by and see her and let her know you saw this review on google. The owner of the salon is very professional. She helped me to figure out what I wanted. The other ladies were very nice as well. Go by and get your hair done by Ms. Tabara - you will love it!!!! I had an exceptional experience at Abi Hair Braiding. For the past three years, this has been my go-to spot for braids because they always do an outst...anding job with my hair. The customer service was wonderful. My appointment lasted six hours with three talented braiders working on my hair. I will definitely be returning! If you are considering braids this is the perfect spot to get them done! Show more

I recently awarded this lady a 5-star rating, but unfortunately, my hair was not trimmed at all. To make matters worse, the braids started unraveling ...within the same week. I encountered rude behavior from the staff when I politely requested them to braid my hair all the way down. I understand that it was late in the day, but if they weren’t able to accommodate my request, they should not have accepted payment. Paying $220 and having my hair fall out within a week is quite disheartening. Regarding the owner, she exhibited rudeness by insisting on full payment despite the unsatisfactory outcome. I refused to pay in full because my hair was not done properly. I have been braiding hair for 22+ years, and though many mistake me for being African, I am not. However, I have a good understanding of their culture, and I am aware that they are not particularly fond of Black Americans. Nevertheless, it is our community that supports their businesses. Even the customer who had her hair done before me left the salon upset and was partially refunded. Therefore, if you are considering visiting this establishment, I strongly advise you to know the specific braider who will be working on your hair and refrain from making payment until the service is completed. Unfortunately, you never know what to expect when you come here. Show more
