I am beyond disgusted with how I and my son were treated in this establishment. Im all for supporting black businesses and the black community, but th...is place will never get one cent of mine, my family, and my friends' business again. This is my first time taking my son to this place. My son has gone here two separate times with my father and mother, who was accommodated with no issue. This place and their barbers have dealt with my 2 year old son before. My son who is nonverbal. Was not screaming, kicking, or crying. But fidgeting, blowing raspberries, and shaking his head. We had him in the chair for not even 1 min, and the barber (Torrey), who seemed uninterested to begin with, told us that he wasn't going to be able to cut his hair. The dude gave up before even trying. He stated he had a lot of appointments, which we were one of them, and he obviously wasn't going to be patient enough to cut my sons hair. When In the past, it only took my son 5-10 minutes to receive the same haircut with the same behavior. The only reason we came here is because this place was able to do the job without the condescending behavior shown by Torrey . It's hard as a parent with a special needs child to venture out in public, not knowing how the public will treat or view my child. My child deserves the same respect and dignity as anyone else there. I thought I found that place who would provide this, but apparently, Im still searching. I personally wouldn't recommend anyone with a child who has special needs to come here. Even though Google said they accommodate children on the spectrum, it doesn't mean they actually do. Shame on you, Torrey, not that you actually care, but there is a special kind of karma for people like you, and I hope it finds you at the most inconvenient time. PSA Since my experience and my review (on google), I've been getting harassed since sunday morning by private numbers and by the shops number . Be careful when booking online he will call you personally once you provide your phone number to book the app. He starts throwing temper tantrums! And then he will publicly shame you by making public statuses about you (facebook), just to turn off the comments on fb, shut down the page, and delete the google comments. You said what you said, Torrey, now stand on it! I currently have 22 declined calls, 20 from private numbers ranging from 5:07p -7:58p on Saturday, October 4th, 2025. And from 3:31a - 7:55a sunday, October 5th, 2025. 2 calls came from the barber shops number. Show more
