I am super happy with my hair. The staff was super friendly and Arlene did a great job coloring, cutting and styling my hair and she did it in a very ...reasonable length of time. This was honestly the worst experience I’ve ever had in my life. My appointment was at 11:30 with Grace, and I arrived at 11:15. Upon arrival they wer...e unprepared for my appointment which I was understanding of because I know it was Mother’s Day weekend and they were busy. I was told I would be passed off to Arlene. However I did book through Booksy. The receptionist was very sweet and brought me back to start washing my hair. She washed my hair twice, and then put conditioner in my hair, and I was left in the shampoo bowl with conditioner in my hair for 45 minutes without being checked on. My hair was dry at that point with conditioner caked onto it. They kept taking other clients while I sat there and waited. Arlene then came to get me very annoyed and said come on let’s go and the receptionist had to tell her “no she’s still sitting with conditioner in her hair”. Arlene then annoyingly and roughly washed the conditioner out of my hair. She brought me to the chair, and proceeded to ask what I wanted. I showed her a pic of long hair with layers. She ended up cutting off a lot more hair than I asked for. After she styled it she left me under the dryer for another 45 minutes while she continued to take other clients. I will never go back to this salon ever. I should have walked out with the conditioner left on my hair. Please save yourself time and don’t go here. I would rather pay $200+ for a haircut then go through this again. I was told I would have the conditioner for a few minutes , not 45 MINUTES. Never asked about going under the dryer, they never apologized for taking 2.5hours for a haircut. Please save yourself the time. Hello, I want to start of apologizing for the inconvenience. Yes, your appointment was with Grace but we asked you if it was okay for Arleen to cut your hair because it would be quicker taking in consideration it was a busy day and also because she has more experience with curly haircuts, and you agreed. The assistant proceeded to wash your hair and let you know she was going to leave a hydrating conditioner on for a few minutes. This conditioner has an additional fee but was never charged because we understood that it was already enough to make you wait. As for the haircut she proceeded to cut what was damaged and needed to be trimmed for your hair to be healthy because you let us know you hadn't cut your hair in a year, but she also kept in mind the picture you showed of the results you wanted. When finished with the haircut she kindly asked if you wished to be put in the dryer which was going to take more time but you would be able to see the final result and you agreed (this process also has an additional cost but was never charged to you). Here at Serendipity Salon we try our best to make all of our clients happy and satisfied with our work. Once again sorry that your experience was not what you expected but we did the best we could as professionals and with care by not putting your hair through any risk.

I had an amazing experience at Serendipity salon today! Arlene is absolutely incredible. A few days ago, I went in for a consultation, and her honesty... and professionalism really stood out to me—that’s what convinced me to schedule my appointment. Today was the big day, and I do not regret it one bit! She listened carefully to what I wanted and delivered beyond my expectations. The cut is perfect, the color is beautiful, and I walked out of there feeling like a brand new woman. The atmosphere in the salon was so relaxing and pleasant—I truly enjoyed the whole experience. Arlene is now my go-to stylist, and I’ve already told my daughters, my mom, my sisters, and my mother-in-law that they have to go see her too. She has a new client for life. Brazilian Blowout | Professional Hair Smoothing Tr

I had my Brazilian blowout done by Arlene. The first time I came to this salon my blowout was done by Soraya who was great. I had a an appointment boo...ked 5 days prior and I arrived exactly on time.However, I had to wait about 20 minutes before Anyone started on me. Arlene put the chemicals directly on my scalp. It burned the entire time the chemical was in my head. I complained about it and she said that was what she had to do but in the 10 years I've had a Brazilian, no one ever made my head burn. Throughout the appointment she kept going between me and other people, stopping my treatment to do a person's color then to wash someone's hair While I sat with chemicals burning on my head. I wouldn't be writing this complaint now And I actually did give her a 20% tip but the next day, and still now, 2 days later, I have scabs and itching and burning in my scalp. I haven't washed my hair because when I looked online It said to wait 48 hours after the treatment to wash your hair Or the treatment could wash out and be in effective. I can't wait for the 48 hours To be up because I spent over $300. And I didn't want the chemical to wash out. I will be reaching out to see what she will do to correct this and prevent hair loss. If I go back at all , it will be only to be cared for by soraya. I contacted an online doctor and showed these photos. I was told i can't put anything on my hair for at lest 4 weeks!! I can't retouch my color or anything. I've been advised to contact the state licensing board. I think the response that I have received is completely unacceptable. Where in the booksy app Does it say that I have to be crammed in between other customers When I made an actual appointment and gave a Credit card hold for potential cancellation. I have had brazilian blowout treatments for over ten years and never has anyone burned my scalp before. I will be bringing if needed testimony written and notarized from other stylists -even from your own facility of needed- to verify this. I will be contacting the state board And have already had a conversation with an attorney. So for anyone reading this lengthy review I guess you need to expect not to get good personalized treatment if you book through booksy to this salon with this person. Hello Catherine, I am sorry about your situation. I suggest that if the burning and discomfort in your scalp is so severe, you wash it. Your health is more important than your physical appearance. If you wait the 48 hours it means that the discomfort will not be as serious for you. I also recommend that you search and read about the side effects of the treatment, which go beyond irritation. I remind you that you made an appointment with me through Booksy and that I can do several people during the processing time for each client. When I started seeing you, you discussed what you wanted with Arleen and I told you that I was Arleen and you, annoyed, told me no, that I was not Arleen, so I don't understand. I did an excellent job, as the Brazilian blowout deserves and i am a license hair stylist and was in front of you in the mirror.
Amazing service, amazing haircut. I will definitely return.
