I actually went to this shop with my daughter, who had a consultation with stylist, Tanethia. During our conversation, I asked the stylist if she work...ed with alopecia clients. I had been wearing a turban daily, for at least 5 years, maybe more. I'd tried everything to find a hairdo that would work for me. I was tired of wigs and anything involving glue was a definite no-no. She stated that she had alopecia clients and shared that she also had the condition. My mouth was hanging open by this time because her hair was gorgeous! I ripped off my turban and asked, "Can you help me"? She walked over, looked at my scalp and ran her hands through my little bit of hair. Then she said the words I wanted to hear, "Yes, I can help you". I could have cried! I made the appointment immediately! Needless to say, I have been and am still thrilled with the results of my traditional locs! As long as she is in business and doing what she is obviously gifted to do, I will be in her chair. P.S. She is a person of faith, gives a great shampoo, and is mindful of your time. I'm so glad I went with my daughter to that hair appointment! Everything happens for a reason. Show more
