A semi-permanent makeup technique that involves filling in sparse eyebrows using a dotting method with a professional device to create the appearance of fuller, defined eyebrows. The end result resembles a powdered, filled-in look that can last anywhere from 2-3years, depending on skin type, skin regime and lifestyle habits. IDEAL FOR: * individuals prefer a "penciled" or "shaded" look. * dry, oily and mature skin. NOT IDEAL FOR: * very loose or thin skin. * visible previous permanent make-up * certain medical conditions like diabetes and auto-immune disorders * pregnancy or breastfeeding DISCOMFORT: Minimum to none, topical numbing is applied prior and during the procedure. A clear complexion is something many people want, but even with the most meticulous skincare regimen, blemish-free skin can be difficult to achieve. Photorejuvenation, which uses Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) technology, can help reduce the appearance of some of the most common skin woes, including brown spots, melasma, broken capillaries and sun damage. This minimally invasive skin procedure can also treat signs of aging such as wrinkles or age spots. There’s very little recovery time and few side effects, making it a popular skin treatment. Discomfort: Mild (Feels like a rubber band) Downtime: Avoid direct sun exposure and wear daily sunscreen of SPF 30. Treated skin will be sensitive to the sun after an IPL treatment, which could result in a painful sunburn. It is recommended to cover up and wear a large-brimmed hat for at least a week after each session. Patients must keep their skin moisturized at all times. As the skin heals from an IPL treatment, it will start to dry out and peel a little. Apply a thick moisturizing cream in the morning and at night. Makeup can be worn 24 – 48 hours after treatment, as long as it is applied and removed gently. Use a gentle cleanser with warm water at least twice a day during the healing process. Patients should also avoid skin care products that contain benzoyl peroxide, Retin-A, Retinol, or glycolic acids. Do not scratch or pick at blemishes that will surface. Allow them to heal and naturally flake off. Avoid strenuous exercising, hot baths, showers, or hot tubs for at least 48 hours.
