I booked for a gel overlay at R300 and an acrylic soak-off at R70, which totals R370. When it was time to pay, I was told the price was R400. There wa...s no explanation for the extra R30 and it felt like the amount was just rounded up without being discussed beforehand. The service itself was also uncomfortable. The nail drill filing was very rough and I was bruised a few times during the process with no apology or acknowledgment. Overall, the service I received was not worth the price I was charged and I left feeling disappointed.

Had the whole thing planned out. Mani/pedi with haircut and style to be ready for dinner out. Looking forward to my 2 hours of fussing and self-care. ...Instead - mani/pedi got cancelled that day because the manicurist “left her keys in Limpopo?” I had to scramble to get a mani pedi at two different places - not pleasant. Added stress to an afternoon that I had carefully planned out. They apologized but that doesn’t fix it. Then went for the haircut and style, was greeted with a disdainful “Oh, thought u had cancelled…” u “thought” I cancelled? No, the manicurist cancelled on me. And if u thought I cancelled, did u reach out to confirm? Hairstylist June seemed bored, she gave me an OK cut. But the styling? I said “some curl” and she heard “flat to my head.” No concept of trying to “style” the hair. She just blowdried it straight like I was going to walk the dog - not like I was going out that night. Disappointing, not organized, not creative. Won’t go back.
