I was transitioning from relaxed hair to natural with braids for over a year. I also moved from Massachusetts to Charlotte and needed a good Dominican spot! This was great! My wash was gentle so was the blow out. I also needed a decent trim! Four day...s before Christmas! Thank you!

Amalay Dominican Beauty Spa is in the perfect location on South Blvd. It has an “at-home” inviting atmosphere. I was nervous as I have just relocated from CT and finding a new stylist that you like can be difficult. Yamilka provided my blowout and tr...im. She was very nice, gentle and knew exactly how to lay my hair. Let’s just say I left the salon feeling as though I’d been touched by an angel. They offer a range of services including skin and nails...and to my surprise hair braiding! Schedule your visit, they won’t disappoint!

I usually get blowouts when I visit the salon. But this time I had my hair curled. They were the most long lasting, well defined curls I’ve ever had in life!!!! No more straight hair for me! Thanks Franklin!...

The worst attention I have received, I thought that only in Latin countries this happened, I made an appointment for 11:15 am and the stylist was not there, I arrived 25 minutes later and the lady who was at that time (stylist's wife) she has no ide...a what customer service is, she was very rude and dismissive, she kicked me out of the place just because he wanted the stylist to advise me with a cut, I'm going to give him 1 star because the stylist called me and apologized, but 0000000000% recommended

First visit to Solon, will not return again. I scheduled a Mini-Pedi but they booked me in with someone else and I was told by in un-professional manner there was only one Technician for my service. I was passed off to someone who had NO clue what sh...e was doing and given the worst Mani-Pedi in my life. It tool 90 mins. and my Toes and Nails were cut too short, two days later am still having pain in my nails and toes because they were improperly done....

With all the COVID19 going on my stylist was not back open and I needed my hair done since last year:) I went online and I try not to focus on reviews because everyone experience is different. I only let dominicans do my haor and decided to go to Ama...lay's. I really enjoyed the wash and my hair lookz great! I will say that there are pros and cons everywhere that been said I would have like more expression from the stylist about my hair.

This was my first time going to get a hair done in about 4 years. I had a haircut and blow out and also had it flat ironed. I had about 3 in half inches cut off. Franklin cut my hair and another lady washed and dried and flat ironed my hair.( i didnt... catch her name :( ) But my hair came out feeling great and healthy and SO damn smooth! The prices are affordable for what I believe to be reasonable when getting your hair done. I will be back!
