I'm new to the san antonio area, and I'm starting over with getting hair services for my daughter and I. I Googled black-owned hair dressers in the a...rea, and Braidgirl salon popped up. I made an appointment but unfortunately had to cancel online. Fast forward, a couple months passed and I booked for my daughter yet again. I'm glad that I did!!! The owner is very polite and professional. She answers any questions you may have and responds promptly. Her and her worker does a very good job at braiding. My teenaged daughter loved her hair, & so did I! My daughter showed the owner the style she wanted and it was replica to what she asked for! Braidgirl salon is definitely my hairdresser from now on, being that I'm new to the city!!! I'm excited!!! Show more

Braid girl was so sweet and very accommodating especially because I am tender headed. My head only hurt in the sensitive spots for a short time but sh...e really was gentle and effective at catching all my short hair. She also gave a really good consultation to help me find the right color match for my salt and pepper hair. She has a large variety of colors to choose from as well.
