After submitting my last rewiew, I would now give this salon no stars. I was texting the loctician Lanizia about potentially changing my appointment t...ime to an earlier at her convenience but I expressed it wasn’t possible for me. Tone through text felt passive aggressive but I ignored it. I still managed to make it to my appointment earlier like she requested, yet she was working on another client resulting in me having to wait. While doing my hair, she did not turn the chair around so I could see, and didn’t even ask me what hairstyle I wanted. Out of convenience, she gave me the style she wanted so she could leave the salon early. Not only did she not allow my hair to fully dry which would have resulted in mold especially with the style, she also overcharged me for the hairstyle, stating she gave me “petal buns for free” but i paid 5 dollars extra than last time for the same exact thing. I took down the style as soon as a I home and was unhappy with the state of the retwist itself, as it felt very rushed. I acknowledge as a client, there was error on my part that I can acknowledge that could’ve gave me a different outcome. However, as a service provider, she did not make me feel comfortable to speak up in the chair and hear me out before I left. I will definitely not be returning or recommending to friends and family. Definitely not worth a 2 hour commute. Show more

Good day! I’m sorry that you were having a bad day. As in your screenshot, & our convo..I mentioned that I gave you the petals on me the 1st time. Petals cost more. It is listed. & in the screenshot I told you how much it would be, which is actually less than the actual petal service b/c your hair isn't that long. You agreed to the amount before you came in for your service. You later asked if you can add 2 strand, & I said you couldn’t because I was already going over the cut off time for your appt. that you expressed twice that you couldn't come in earlier for. I understood that you couldn't come in earlier, so I booked another client, as I would be done with them by the time you arrived for your 5:30 appt. You texted me while I was working at 3:51, saying you will arrive at 4:50. But I already booked another client. So when you arrived early, you had to wait b/c I wasn't expecting you until 5:30. I took you a little earlier than 5:30, as I work fast normally. I am fast, but efficient. I did several nice things for you, and you decided to give me a bad review because I didn't work passed my cut off time, because I didn’t wait for you, and because I charged you for my labor. I’m sorry you felt this way, and I wish you the best on your hair journey. ❤️
