DO NOT BOOK WITH BOBBY! On August 15th I went for a nail appointment and it was honestly one of the worst salon experiences I’ve ever had…and it happe...ned the day before my baby shower (8.5 months pregnant)! I had sent my inspo photo through Instagram ahead of time and was told it would be $100 by Tina, who I believe is the owner. After Bobby started the work she told me it would be $120. I asked her to double check and Tina confirmed it would be $100. When I pointed out (politely) that the nails didn’t look like the picture and asked what could be done, she got agitated immediately. She consulted with Tina who coached her on what to do and as Tina was explaining it to her, in anger she walked led away. When she came back to the table, Bobby told me not to book with her again and I should just book with Tina because I was “indecisive.” However, I never changed my mind—I just wanted my nails to look like what I asked for. Thinking it would be easier to do something more simple, she said to do a white tip would be $25 to remove what’s she’s done. I agreed to not book with her again as she wished. I was hurt by this but didn’t react. Then, to make it worse, she refused to finish my nails and literally walked away, leaving me with an unfinished set the day before my shower! Her reaction was completely disproportionate to the situation. It was veryyy dramatic and extreme. Tina told me they were fully booked and no one else could help, then said if I waited another 30 minutes someone might finish them. By that point I had already been sitting there 2 hours. That would’ve meant over 3 hours in pain, with my back killing me, just for my hands. I cannot express how stressful, disrespectful, and disappointing this was. My last appointment with Bobby, she was also rude and moody, but I let it slide thinking she might of just had a bad day. This time was beyond unprofessional, especially at such an important time in my life. I don’t like bashing businesses, but this was unacceptable. I dont condone customers being rude to techs or stylists so I make sure to never to that to people servicing me. I would never recommend Bobby to anyone. The sad part is I have recommended this salon and one of my friends called and she heard the call of me recommending the salon. This is a salon that I attend but would say that this was only the 2nd time I went to Bobby. I say this because I am not a new customer, the prices are up there but I pay and ensure I tip. It was sooo embarrassing the salon was full of people. I can’t imagine everrr treating anyone like that. For years, I have not had issues in going there and have even recommended people I know to go there. Do not book with BOBBY she is rude and immature and obviously has to work on her temperament and professionalism. Extremely disappointing. Show more
