Welcome to The Sensory Studio @ Blade Inclusive Salon

 The Sensory Session

This is the appointment you will need to book once you have attended your First Visit Appointment .

In these sessions we will building confidence,  which can take time,patience and understanding .

It will be a process and usually will require several ,regular appointments to build that trust .

We will never force them to sit in the chair ,wear a gown or continue if they are overwhelmed. 

We will take breaks when needed and work at there pace and every session will be tailored to the individual. 

Please be mindful that this can all take time and we will do our up most to eventually create that perfect haircut .

Welcome to The Sensory Studio @ Blade Inclusive Salon.

Once you have booked your appointment you will recieve an Introduction Form to complete via booksy. This information is vital so we are able to understand any anxieties or needs and to make the most of the appointment on the day. 

If this form isn't completed before the day it could result in the appointment being rescheduled to another time.

With your First Visit to us we cannot promise any form of a haircut, the most important thing on the day is for them to feel safe. We will let them explore the Studio, play with the toys and enjoy the Sensory Equipment. While they are exploring we will be observing and start engaging with them to understand there response to us.

The most important thing within this first appointment is to start to build that trust, confidence and that they are comfortable around us and in the studio. The best outcome will be that we do get some form of a haircut, but the most important part will be that they feel comfortable, safe and with time, patience and understanding we can start the journey of achieving that perfect haircut.

That journey is a process and can require, multiple, regular appointments over a period of time but we will be with you and supporting you every step of the way.
