We live approximately 55 miles away from the Blade and we were a bit skeptical in the beginning as our child is non-verbal autistic can may not cope w...ell with a long drive. However, everything worked really well. Our child had a great time while there (in fact didnt want to leave!). If you have a similar child you may seriously want to consider visiting the blade for a haircut. Highly recommended Show more

Excellent service. Caroline is so wonderful and patient with my Autistic son. He hated having his hair cut and doing it my self was too much trauma fo...r him and me! Coming to Caroline’s wonderful sensory studio has been a game changer! We have only been 3 times and on the 3rd visit my so. Was able to stand and have his hair cut without crying or having a melt down! Booked for our 4th appointment to finally have a proper hair style! Thank you, thank you, thank you! Even before we attended the appointment for our son who has had issues with having his hair cut before Caroline put us at ease on Facebook messenger! ...On arrival she was welcoming and spent time interacting with our son to make his experience the best possible, he for the first time in a year sat in a chair and had his hair cut without needing one of us sitting with him holding him and we are so thankful and impressed with how well his hair turned out so a huge thank you to Blade and Caroline who saw our son today!
