MJ HAIROLOGY – HAIR EXTENSIONS TERMS AND CONDITIONS

§1 General Provisions

1. Booking an appointment constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
2. Every client is required to inform MJ Hairology of any scalp conditions, allergies, hormonal issues, excessive hair loss, or medications that may affect the condition of their hair.
3. MJ Hairology reserves the right to refuse to perform the service if the condition of the client’s hair or scalp does not allow the procedure to be carried out safely.

§2 Hair Extension Services

1. The final result of the service depends on:
   • the condition of the client’s natural hair,
   • proper home care,
   • compliance with aftercare instructions,
   • the manner in which the hair is used and maintained by the client.
2. The client will be informed about the proper care and maintenance of hair extensions.
3. MJ Hairology shall not be held responsible for damage resulting from:
   • improper hair care,
   • pulling or tugging on the hair,
   • pulling on the attachment points/bonds,
   • incorrect brushing techniques,
   • the use of non-recommended products,
   • failure to follow aftercare instructions,
   • interference by third parties.

§3 Complaints and Claims

1. In the event of any issue, the client is required to inform MJ Hairology immediately and provide photographic documentation.
2. Any complaint or claim must be submitted within 7 days of the service being performed.
3. Before seeking services from another salon, the client must allow MJ Hairology to assess the reported issue and attempt to resolve it.
4. If another salon has altered, removed, or otherwise interfered with the hair extensions before MJ Hairology has assessed the complaint, the claim may be rejected due to the inability to verify the reported issue accurately.
5. MJ Hairology reserves the right to offer a corrective service as the primary form of complaint resolution.

§4 Refund Policy

1. Natural hair extensions that have been:
   • installed,
   • used,
   • customized,
   • cut,
   • styled,
     are non-refundable.
2. Refunds for hair extensions are only possible if a product defect is identified prior to installation.
3. MJ Hairology is not responsible for costs incurred from services performed by third parties without prior agreement.
4. MJ Hairology does not reimburse the cost of services performed by other hair salons.

§5 Maintenance Appointments

1. For extension methods requiring maintenance or refitting, the client is obliged to attend appointments within the timeframe recommended by the stylist.
2. Failure to attend maintenance appointments or using the hair extensions contrary to the provided instructions may affect the longevity of the service.

§6 Liability

1. MJ Hairology performs all services with due care and in accordance with current industry standards and professional knowledge.
2. The durability and longevity of hair extensions depend on the client’s individual characteristics, the condition of their natural hair, and how the extensions are maintained and used.
3. MJ Hairology does not guarantee the same longevity or results for every client.

§7 Final Provisions

1. Booking an appointment is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
2. These Terms and Conditions are available on the website and upon the client’s request.
3. MJ Hairology reserves the right to update or amend these Terms and Conditions at any time.
