Helen is so lovely and knowledgeable. I went with my Nana and it was so so special. Helen got all different kinds of dresses out and let me try differ...ent ones on which I never would’ve picked out and turns out I chose my perfect dress from this. I then went back with my mum, mum in law to be and Nana and confirmed the dress and I just feel like I could really trust Helen and her helpful input. DISGUSTING not plus size friendly!! I had my first bridal appointment on Monday 18th March and to say I'm disappointed is an understatement. We were r...unning slightly late 7 minutes to be precise and when we arrived Helen was so rude and the most unwelcoming she said (I have another appointment in an hour so will to get a move on) Helen asked what my budget was (2k) and I advised I didnt want to go above this. Helen then asked for my size which is UK size 22 she went on to say that my options were quite limited due to my size and said I had to chose between 4 dresses which were all over budget the amount of dresses in that shop was poor even if i was a slimmer size there wasnt much to choose from. I asked her if I was the largest bride she had in her shop before and she said (ermm... and went on to compare me to a size 30) I felt so uncomfortable in the changing room because she was directly facing me whilst I had no cloths on only knickers I said I felt uncomfortable and bad that she had to see my body which I said I'm ashamed of and she said (iv seen it all) this made me feel awful about my body amd really deflated. I made it crystal clear to Helen at the start of the appointment that i didnt want anything too fitted as didnt want to look like a sausage roll, after trying on 3 dresses Helen then got me to try on the smallest dress she could find which was the most unflattering it didnt fit anyway amd she was pulling it up it was that tight it almost ripped, i walked out to tbe mirror just wanting to cry at that point i had had enough and was so disappointed because i wanted the experience to be special for me and my mum. This I believe is substandard shocking service wouldn't recommend to anyone. Even my mum who came with me felt so uncomfortable Helen didn't talk to my mum once didn't offer to take her coat or a drink nothing didn't even offer a glass of water after us saying g we were warm and thirsty. I can't put into words how bad this was so upsetting. Show more

Thankyou for taking the time to give your feedback. We’re really saddened to hear this is how you felt about your experience. We allocate 90 minutes for a styling consultation. It’s possible there was a miscommunication as to your appointment time as you arrived 25 minutes late. Helen felt it was courteous to let you know when the next appointment would be arriving so as to avoid any confusion with the shorter timeframe remaining. You did still manage to try on at least 10 dresses in this time period. One dress you loved that much you made a 2nd appointments for later in the week to come back and try on again. Then when you were called after not showing up for this appointment you said you was on your way and would be 5 minutes, but then still didn't turn up. We apologise if you felt uncomfortable having a staff member present during your changing. This is often a necessity due to the styling and structure of the dresses, as it is usually not something our Brides are able to do alone. We wish you the best of luck with your wedding day and we are so happy you found a dress you love elsewhere. We won't be commenting further on this matter

Fabulous boutique and Helen is so lovely. Your appointment is exclusive when you go, so its just a one to one appointment, no other people around whic...h was really important to me! Helen is really knowledgeable and helps you pick options based on her wealth of knowledge. I found my dress back in January and have been back to try it on since with no issue! Finally said yes yesterday! You can bring your bridal party and there are drinks available! Honestly a wonderful experience and im so grateful 🙏 Show more
