I knew this appt was going to be something when she didn’t know what time my appointment was for. I got a silk press. She shampooed my hair and didn’...t scratch it good enough. Then she conditioned it and then she conditioned it again and let that one sit. You have to shampoo it at least two times When getting a silk press the hair needs to be fully washed really good to get all those creams and oils out your hair. Then it was time to blow dry it and she was using a brush and a blow dry and she was brushing my hair like it was a week starting from the top and just brushing it. I told her let me get the tangles out because you’re hurting. She said it’s not tangled to me and ask me if I’m tender headed I said no, when you comb out someone’s hair, you’re supposed to part it in 4 sections and part that section make sure it’s wet, then comb out the tangles before you start to blow dry. So then she went and got a blow dryer with a comb and I guess that wasn’t working for her so she decided to get the flat iron and started flat ironing the hair without combing it out first so as she flat ironed it, she got the comb and was holding the flat iron on my hair while combing it out. Mind you there was no heat spray applied before blow drying or flat ironing then in the middle of it she decides to get some oil and put on my hair. You can tell my hair was not fully blow dried. I knew it myself by the length of it and texture. I barely wanted her cutting it because I didn’t want her to really chop it up if she could not do my hair properly so I let her cut the ends only, I will never go back my hair got frizzy once I got home. I usually do my hair myself and every once in a while, I go to a professional. If your hair is natural, I would not recommend her.
