Please look elsewhere. I went in for a hair trim and the owner Toya purposefully performed a haircut of her choosing without my consent. But, I didn't... need nor want a haircut. Who does this? Imagine a hairstvlist just wanting to cut all your long hair off just because she wants too. She admitted to attempting a U shape haircut (I didn't ask for) on my hair but she has yet to apologize for the mistake. But, was it a mistake? I do not think so. It was on purpose. Why practice haircuts on clients hair. Haircuts clients did not consent too! Practice your craft on vour own hair. Instead of apologizing she took the route of saying I was over analyzing and it will grow back. It's not hard to see that she cut one side of my hair to my shoulder and the other is below my collarbone. It looks terrible. Please keep in mind, I had armpit length hair. Toya has a lot of things going on in her life to the point where she is constantly talking about her private life to clients. If it's not about her husband not paying the mortgage, it's about other should be private matters. Clients are not therapists. Her mom and husband needs to explain that to her. Clients go to hairdressers to get their hair done and relax. She complained that other clients left due to her unprofessionalism. But, I should've did like other clients and moved on. Now that she purposefully messed my hair up. I know now she is not well. She needs therapy and a break from doing hair. I can't help but think that she took her anger out on my hair because her husband been skipping paying the mortgage. So, please stay away. Updated Comment: My hair does not grow in a U shape! I attached an image to show what she did to my hair. Please use discernment. She is a liar and the picture does not lie. The only thing her response did was reveal again that she gave a haircut without my consent. She won’t tell the whole truth because she is embarrassed. I would be to if I used my place of business to share my personal business with any client walking through the door. Clients are not therapists nor are they friends. I do not know this lady well enough to be labeled a friend or family. She just gossip about her personal business openly to every client in the building. So, I guess every client is her family and friends. I only saw her for trims. So, just stop trying to insinuate we were anything other than client and hairstylist. You should be embarrassed for your unprofessionalism. I’m just telling you what all clients are thinking, we are not therapists. So, remember next time you’re styling clients’ hair that they are there to relax not hear about your personal problems. Additionally, if you know your personal problems are affecting your ability to do hair. Then, recognize you need a break. Otherwise, future clients will continue to have situations such as uneven unauthorized haircuts. Lastly, respect clients and ask for their consent. You are a stranger and their hair is not your hair. You needed this review not just future clients. So, just stop with the lies. You’re just trying to save face. But, the image don’t lie. Folks have enough sense to see that my hair was purposefully messed up. Be careful who you let trim your hair. I hope this review helps someone. Blessings… Show more

The shape of your hair was u shape which was your natural grow out for the 4 years I've service you...in those years we developed a sort of Friendship so I thought ..you asked questions I gave you honest reply. I apologize throughout our years of business. I assumed your interest was genuine. I explained your hair shape which I will tack on below for reference which the middle of your hair you throw over your shoulder would be longer.I offered you to come in to check the trim you refused which is your right ..I shared information above in confidence as you shared some of your matters throughout these years..I hope all goes well for you..And again sorry for the false read of the relationship. Definition for u shape hair clients: What is a U-shaped cut? What Is A U-Shape Haircut? A U-shape haircut is similar to a V- shape haircut in that they both involve the middle of your hair being longer than the sides. It saves length..instead of straight across trim..
