Recently moved to California and found runso via insta. Great vibes as soon as I walked in the door. When he showed me the drawing, it was a really ra...d drawing but not quite what I was envisioning. I asked for some changes, he did not hesitate and went straight to drawing/editing piece. He made sure I loved everything about it before we started placement. He was good conversation, wonderful with checking in and asking if breaks were needed. I’m obsessed with my new tattoo and will be going back to him for more. The shop itself is gorgeous and everyone was kind and welcoming. 10/10 recommend runso for your tattoo needs. Show more

I've gone to many different artists, and Amon is by far one of the best. Besides the fact that his art style is amazing and unique to him, and his col...or palettes are always impeccable, he's always very kind and patient. I really couldn't say enough positive things. He will not compromise his work when it comes to quality. He has very strong integrity and knows exactly what he's doing. I can't wait to work with him again. He's one of those rare, hard to find artists and I will continue to fly across the state for his awesome art! Show more

Was very turned off by the interaction between me and this man. I waited patiently for an hour for him to draw up a tattoo after he was already an hou...r late to our appointment. Originally, I was eager to get one of his flash designs that consisted of peonies and a skull that we had agreed to alter for a cover up on an already existing tattoo of mine which I provided a photo of prior to our appointment. He ended up showing me a design he drew up of a peony which wasn’t the vibe of the flash design and when I expressed my indifference towards it he said he would need more time to work on another design but at that point I felt that my time was being wasted. He barely communicated about the design with me while I was waiting and I had a better experience interacting with the other artists and folks getting tatted in the shop. I was no longer interested in having him tattoo me because I figured he had a week from the day I spoke to him about the tattoo and when I originally booked the appointment. He didn’t care about my time or the $100 I wasted for the deposit for he stated that he, “drove 30 minutes and spent the time to draw”. I get there’s a process to come up with a concept and technicalities that may go into a coverup but there was poor communication and I ultimately just left after he robbed me. I’m disappointed but I guess I’ll think again before I decide to let another white man tattoo me. Show more

I have enough tattoos on my body to warrant having an opinion about this experience in comparison to other parlors I’ve been. The atmosphere is gorge...ous - plants are everywhere in the space, all green and flourishing - which is testimony to the care and nurturing they receive. When I arrived, there were some great lo-fi jams in the air, making it even more conducive to vibing while the needles drop. Now, to Amon. I’ve worked with eight tattoo artists and I can honestly say - working with Amon was easily the best, most rewarding experience. He’s a great conversationalist, he’s a smart dude, and I would hang with him even if I wasn’t getting a tattoo. I told my wife, “this dude is our people.” Truer words. His artistry is absolutely stunning. He was also great about taking breaks and communicating where we were at in the process. Just… awesome. My wife is excited to work with Amon on her sleeve, and I will be back for a cover-up, because I know he’ll knock it out of the park. Show more
