My son and I visited this shop because our usual hairstylist was booked. To be honest, she really does good work, but hair washing and conditioning ar...e charged separately and she was way too rough with my hair when I came in on a different day and she was so rough with my son's hair for this appointment that he cried which is not typical of him. Even though I washed, detangled and blow dried my child's hair 20 minutes prior to the appointment, she still had difficulty being gentle with my son's hair when detangling and braiding it. The prices are also significantly more expensive than listed online, so the cost should be clarified prior to scheduling. Cornrows for men are listed at $50, but I was charged $80. Otherwise, she is very skilled and can do a variety of complicated style. She is also trilingual. If she could improve on these things, she would be great. Unfortunately, we will not be returning. The price changes because it wasn't easy to braid his hair cuz u didn't comb and blow dry his and she took more time than usually and she was very patient with the baby boy cuz his hair was very very tangled thanks please next time be ready for us like wash, detengler and blow dry very well thanks for your comprehension

Disappointing Experience As much as I value supporting small businesses, I feel obligated to share my recent disappointing experience. My daughter has... been a regular customer for some time, but my first attempt at getting my hair braided left me feeling unsatisfied. Despite paying well over $200 the outcome was flat and thin. When I expressed my dissatisfaction, instead of offering solutions, Marian became defensive and combative. It's disheartening when communication and customer service fall short, especially when trust and satisfaction are paramount in the beauty industry. This could have been an easy fix but instead felt more like a silly argument. Show more
Rude attitude and will lie and say she didn’t do your hair and you didn’t call when she did Do my hair and I did call her! Look at other reviews how s...he responds. She will wait until your there and make u waste your gas to get hair she wants to use for your hair and then argue with clients on reviews cause she she rude and disrespectful! Go back to your home with that attitude cause it’s not welcomed here in America! Do not go here !! I am warning you Show more

I had to have my hair braided for a runway show in Hollywood, and these ladies did an awesome job on my braids. Thank you ladies
Called and made an appointment here and arrived the next morning to be refused service. My Kenyan friends came to get their hair braided and instead w...ere treated disrespectfully and rude. They claimed there was no appointment made and that they would be unable to do what was requested. They made us feel uwelcome and did not treat their fellow Africans with kindness. Show more
