Never received service. Wanted an extra $35 (over 30% of my total bill) to honor my appointment scheduled through Booksy because I was unaware to send... a cash deposit. What is the purpose of using this app for scheduling then? If this is a major transaction point and you track for those who send deposit, you can also follow-up with those who didn’t but I heard nothing until I reached out at the time of service. Called twice and didn’t bother to answer. Had to text to even receive a response. It was a very short conversation ending without her response. Unprofessional and predatory business practice. Now in the comments trying to gaslight me. As a first time-client, I booked and arrived to my appointment on-time. Nothing about this situation is “having your cake and eating it too”. The exorbitant fee (and willingness to charge so), lack of prior follow-up, and degree of responsiveness to this info becoming public is telling. Black men, book at your own risk. Show more

Just say you didn’t read the instructions listed . You're the first and only client who had a problem / didn’t receive service. You didn’t WANT to keep your appointmentur because you didn’t WANT to pay the fee which was fine, but to make it seem as if I'm unprofessional because you were unable to have your cake and eat it too is bit extreme. What am I following up for when the site automatically updates you TWICE about your appointment via email or text ? Again you're the only person who has ever had a problem with reading and sending a deposit .
